Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Record Keeping

  • Record and maintain accurate day-to-day accounting entries.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, general ledger postings, and petty cash.
  • Support in the monthly and annual closing of accounts.

2. Invoicing & Receivables

  • Prepare and issue client invoices in a timely manner.
  • Track receivables and follow up with clients for collections.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments received.

3. Vendor Payments & Payables

  • Process and verify vendor bills with supporting documents.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and reconciliation of accounts payable.
  • Maintain updated vendor payment schedules.

4. Payroll & Employee Compliance

  • Coordinate with HR for payroll processing and salary disbursement.
  • Handle statutory compliance payments and filings for:
  • Provident Fund (PF)
  • Employees' State Insurance (ESIC)
  • Gratuity
  • Professional Tax (PT) and other applicable employee benefits
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely submissions.

5. Compliance & External Collaboration

  • Collaborate with external consultants for GST returns, TDS filings, and audits.
  • Provide data, reports, and documentation as required by consultants.
  • Ensure timely compliance by coordinating with auditors and tax advisors.
  • Prepare reports on receivables, payables, payroll, and compliance payments.
  • Assist management in expense tracking and cash flow monitoring.
  • Maintain financial records in line with company policies.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance.
  • Knowledge of PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and payroll-related compliance is essential.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants.
