Role and Responsibilities :

Data Modeling : Design, develop, and maintain data models to support business requirements and data warehousing initiatives.

Database Management : Work with database management systems (DBMS) like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL to create, manage, and optimize databases.

ETL/ELT : Utilize ETL/ELT tools (Talend, Informatica, SSIS, DataStage, etc.) to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses and data marts.

Data Analysis : Analyze data requirements, identify data sources, and assess data quality to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

SQL Proficiency : Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.

RDBMS Concepts : Demonstrate a deep understanding of relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts, including normalization, indexing, and query optimization.

Data Warehousing : Apply data warehousing methodologies and best practices to design and implement data warehouses.

Problem-Solving : Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and optimize data processes.

ETL Platforms : Leverage ETL platforms for data mapping and transformation, ensuring efficient and accurate data movement.

Required Qualifications :

- 4-8 years of experience in data modeling, databases, data warehousing, ETL, and SQL.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems.

- Experience with ETL/ELT tools.

- Knowledge of data modeling principles.

- In-depth understanding of RDBMS concepts, data analysis, and SQL.

- Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong understanding of ETL platforms for data mapping and transformation.

Desired Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics).

- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g, Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience with data governance and data quality management.

- Certifications in data modeling or data warehousing
