Required Information Details

Role** Windows/VMware Admin

Required Technical Skill Set** Knowledge on handling L2 activities

Desired Experience Range** 8+ Yrs

Desired Competencies (Technical Competency)Must-Have**

Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is preferred.Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.Ability to create scripts in Perl, Python, and similar languages.Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.Excellent problem-solving skills.Good analytical and communication skills.VMware HA, DRS, SDRS knowledgeVMware update manager and knowledge on patching maintenance of ESXI.VMware networking.VMware upgrade process.Vrops,VRA &VROGood-to-HavePowercli and Powershell for Automation and scripting.Efficient Problem determination & Timely Identifying Root causesEfficient in business communicationVMware vRealize AutomationUnderstanding of ITSM best practices and ITIL principles

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role1Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.2Vmware virtual environment management (end to end)3Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers, Status reporting4Detecting and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.5Availability and capacity management6Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups

Minimum Qualification:15 years of full-time education
