1DepartmentOperationsFunctionUnderwritingReporting toManagerBand5A/5BLocationGurgaonLast Date of Submission:Appraise medical risks for life insurance applicationUsing factors such as age, occupation, medical history, financial standing and other relevant conditions that determine insurabilityAppraise level of risk involved in applicationsWith adverse medical findingsWhere medical opinion or decision is necessary for acceptance/rejection of insurance coverageEvaluate medical condition and analyze the test results of the applicantsUnderwrite new and existing businessRecommend, accept, reject insurance coverage within limits set in the underwriting policyHandle routine and non-routine and renewal casesRefer difficult cases to superiorsAssessing financial documents and summarize the same.Measure of Success:Ensure adherence of TAT for underwriting of proposalsAdhere to all regulatory requirements and reports exception.Lead team of motivated professionals aligned to company goalsManage internal and external stakeholders in terms of CSAT and DSAT.Desired qualifications and experience:Graduate with 5+ years of experience in Operations or related areasMBBS / B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing/B.Pharm/BPT/Insurance Qualified preferredKnowledge and skills required:Strong communication skillsStrong GO / HO process knowledgeEye for detailGood co-ordination skillsGood Analytical SkillsComputer knowledge (MS Office, MS Excel, MS Power Point) and Technical skills
