Role OverviewThe Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead the marketing and brand strategy for Chatha Foodsportfolio. This includes B2B, private label, institutional, retail, and export markets, with a strongfocus on brand creation, portfolio premiumization, and digital presence. The CMO will beresponsible for positioning Chatha Foods as a trusted and innovative food manufacturing brandacross India and international markets.3. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Strategic Brand Leadership • Develop and execute a unified marketing strategy across RTC, RTE, Frozen Chicken and Vegproduct categories.• Define the brand architecture (corporate, sub-brands, etc).• Drive consumer insights, category research, and positioning for both domestic and exportmarkets• Build brand equity through design, storytelling, and digital engagement.B. Product & Portfolio Management• Partner with R&D and Operations to define go-to-market strategy for new launches• Lead product pricing, packaging, and channel differentiation (QSR, HoReCa, modern trade,export).• Manage packaging artwork, KLD development, and compliance with FSSAI and exportnorms.C. Sales & Channel Enablement• Collaborate with Sales Heads (Domestic & Export) to drive trade marketing programs andchannel activations.• Build distributor engagement programs, POS visibility, and B2B campaign support.• Implement category growth strategies for key accountsD. Digital, Communication & PR• Develop a strong digital and content marketing strategy — website, social media, influencercollaborations, and performance marketing.• Oversee corporate communication, press releases, investor-facing branding (post BSElisting).• Strengthen employer branding and CSR-related visibility.E. Analytics & ROI• Define marketing KPIs and ROI measurement frameworks.• Lead market intelligence and competitor benchmarking.• Present monthly performance dashboards to the leadership team.4. Qualifications & Experience• MBA in Marketing / Brand Management from a Tier 1 or 2 institute.• 15+ years of marketing leadership experience in FMCG / Food Manufacturing / QSR / FrozenFoods sectors.• Proven track record in brand building, new product launches, and digital-led marketing.• Strong commercial acumen and experience working cross-functionally with sales, R&D, andoperations teams5.
