Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead the financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes in a fully remote capacity. The Director of FP&A will be responsible for driving financial performance and providing insights to support business growth. The position requires monthly travel to the company’s headquarters for collaboration and strategic meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decision-making and optimize financial performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic insights to senior leadership on financial trends and business drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Lead the FP&A team , ensuring high levels of accuracy and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Provide financial insights and support for M&A initiatives , strategic investments, and other corporate finance activities.
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Director of FP&A or in a similar senior finance role, ideally in a high-growth or international environment.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling , budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience leading and developing FP&A teams and collaborating with senior executives.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with global teams.
