Preferred qualifications:
As a Principal Member of the Technical Staff, you will own software development of significant features in Oracle Cloud’s Storage product offerings. You should become comfortable with development in Java and be willing to learn new languages/scripts as needed. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
 

Come build the state of the art IaaS storage enabling new class of databases and applications starting from the ground floor.
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong experience in operating the Cloud Environment , Region builds, VCN, Cloud Infra, Indentity and Access Management, Continuous Delivery and Deployment is must and a huge plus 10+ years of professional software development experience or 8+ years with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering. Strong technical skills with a consistent record of crafting and developing cloud-scale systems, highly available distributed systems, or databases. Experience with Oracle, Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, InnoDB, PolarDB, and TaurusDB will not hurt Proficiency in developing large production projects written in modern Java
