Position Overview:

As the Senior Manager of Process Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and process innovation across various verticals of the organization. This is a highly dynamic role requiring a versatile, generalist background and the ability to create and implement structures and processes across different functions. You’ll also need strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in SQL for data analysis, and the ability to create impactful dashboards. In addition, you’ll manage a team and play a key role in recruitment efforts as we scale our operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generalist Approach: Work across multiple verticals within the organization, building processes, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing operations across different departments.
  • Data-Driven Process Improvement: Use strong analytical skills to evaluate existing processes and drive improvements. Proficiency in SQL is essential for developing dashboards and providing key insights to stakeholders.
  • SQL and Dashboarding: Create, manage, and maintain dashboards that provide real-time insights into operational performance. Knowledge of Mixpanel for dashboarding is a plus.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with stakeholders from various teams—such as supply chain, operations, and product—to align process improvements with business objectives.
  • Team Management & Recruitment: Lead a small team responsible for process excellence and play a hands-on role in recruiting new talent to support the company’s growth.
  • Strategic Process Building: Create standardized processes and frameworks to ensure operational efficiency. Be a key driver in developing SOPs across verticals.
  • Automation & Innovation: Seek opportunities to automate processes, reduce manual intervention, and innovate solutions that keep Zepto ahead of market standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders across functions to ensure that processes align with business needs and improve overall efficiency.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in process improvement, data analysis, or related fields, with strong proficiency in SQL and dashboard creation.
  • A generalist background with the ability to work across multiple departments and functions.
  • Experience in creating structures, processes, and frameworks within an organization.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team and handling recruitment processes.
  • Knowledge of Mixpanel and experience with dashboarding tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to engage with diverse teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a Tier 1 institute, MBA preferred.
