Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing campaigns that promote Benchmark's services and brand. This role is crucial for driving brand awareness, generating qualified leads for our sales team, and showcasing our expertise in delivering exceptional travel and event experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital landscape, a creative mind, and the analytical skills to measure and optimize campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on campaign performance to leadership.
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Manage and optimize paid search (PPC) campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to drive qualified traffic and conversions.
- Conduct keyword research and develop SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Content & Social Media Marketing:
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content for our website, blogs, and social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
- Develop a strong online brand presence by crafting compelling narratives and visual assets that resonate with our target audience.
- Manage and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional offers, to nurture leads and engage existing clients.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization based on data analysis.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and email campaigns to improve conversion rates.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales and client servicing teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business goals and client needs.
- Work with in-house or freelance designers and content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials.
- Stay up-to-date with current digital marketing trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- Proven work experience of 2 - 5 in Digital Marketing, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or MICE industry.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
- Experience with influencer marketing is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
- Proficiency in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns across major search engines.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for problem-solving.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads Certification, Google Analytics Certification) are a plus.
