Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Test Analyst is responsible for assuring the quality of our systems and software applications.
Responsible for manual and automation test runs, assist the team in reducing the bugs and ensure our application meets the requirements.
The role involves writing, executing, maintaining the manual test cases and automation test scripts on our web and desktop application.
Key Accountabilities:
·     Create, execute manual test cases and record results
·     Reporting defects and problems that occurred during the test process
·     Expertise in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and strategy.
·     Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts for manual scenarios
·     Continuously maintain smoke, regression and user journey test scripts within an agreed timeframe with scrum team.
·     Analyse the daily smoke and nightly regression test logs and provide feedback to the team.
·     Linking of manual test cases in Azure Devops to automated test scripts in Selenium (Visual Studio)/Test Complete
·     Creating and maintaining automation test packs in Selenium (Visual Studio)/Test Complete.
·     Identify opportunities for scripting optimization.
·     Responsible for documenting and maintaining the end-2-end automation testing process and procedures.
·     Adheres to testing standards, quality processes and procedures
·     Perform automation code peer reviews and documentation.
·     Verify and revise automation quality standards as needed.
·     Continuous liaison with developers, product owners, business analysts and testers
·     Share automation knowledge and grow the test team’s technical competencies.
·     Evaluate test tools and identify the best ways to apply them.
Key critical Points:
Good understanding of STLC and Agile methodology
·     Good knowledge of SmartBear TestComplete
·     Good knowledge of Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium WebDriver, and Selenium Grid).
·     Good knowledge of Element Locators, Inspecting Elements, and Selenium WebDriver API Commands or Methods.
Needs to be comfortable using Azure DevOps and the CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and JavaScript (Data Types, Variables, Operators, Flow Control Statements, Methods Exception handling, File Handling, Excel file Operations, DB Operations and OOPS concepts), C# Preferred Language.
Comfortable and understand how to work with Visual Studio and version control e.g., Git, SVN, CVS
Good understanding of API testing.
Solid understanding of testing frameworks with Selenium e.g., NUnit.
·     Ability to work unsupervised
Exposure to Desktop Testing
·     Exposure to tools like Selenium IDE/TestComplete/TestExecute
Good presentation and good communication skills
Attention to detail and able to identify test data requirements.
Good time management.
Able to work in a team with diverse roles.
6+ years relevant Automation experience.
Software development background essential.
