SFCC Backend

Overview: The SFCCBackend role is crucial to our organization as it involvesdeveloping and maintaining the backend components of our SalesforceCommerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. The role plays a key part inensuring the seamless functioning of our ecommerce platform anddelivering an exceptional user experience.KeyResponsibilities:

• Designingdeveloping and maintaining SFCC backend components such as datamodels OCAPI and business logic
• IntegratingSFCC with external systems APIs and thirdpartyservices
• Writing clean efficient and scalablecode in JavaScript and Node.js
• Collaboratingwith frontend developers UX/UI designers and crossfunctional teamsto deliver highquality ecommercesolutions
• Participating in code reviews andactively contributing to technicaldiscussions
• Identifying and troubleshootingissues debugging and resolving backendrelatedproblems
• Optimizing and enhancing theperformance of SFCC backendsystems
• Implementing best practices anddeveloping custom functionalities as per businessrequirements
• Staying updated with the latestSFCC features tools and industrytrends
• Contributing to the continuousimprovement of development processes andmethodologies
• Documenting technicalspecifications system designs andprocesses
• Supporting testing deployment andmaintenance activities
• Providing technicalguidance and mentoring junior teammembers
• Adhering to security and compliancestandards in backenddevelopment

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield
• Proven experience as a backend developerwith specialization in Salesforce Commerce Cloud(SFCC)
• Strong proficiency in OCAPI (OpenCommerce API) and integrating SFCC with externalsystems
• Proficiency in serverside JavaScriptNode.js and working with APIs
• Experience indesigning and implementing scalable and maintainable backendsolutions
• Ability to debug and troubleshootcomplex backend issues effectively
• Capabilityto work collaboratively in a team environment and communicatetechnical concepts clearly
• Solid understandingof ecommerce principles architectures and bestpractices
• Knowledge of software developmentlifecycle (SDLC) and agilemethodologies
• Experience in performanceoptimization and enhancing backend systemreliability
• Excellent problemsolving skills anda proactive approach to addressing technicalchallenges
• Capability to adapt to evolvingtechnologies and learn new tools andframeworks
• Strong documentation andorganizational skills with attention todetail
• Familiarity with version control systemsand continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)pipelines
