Description

Key Requirements/ Past Experiences/ Knowledge

1. Architecture Design:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust AWS-based solutions.

• Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation.

2. Cloud Strategy:

• Define and execute cloud strategy, including migration plans and cost optimization.

• Advise on best practices for cloud adoption and security.

3. Implementation and Deployment:

• Lead the deployment and configuration of cloud resources.

• Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements.

• Implement and manage cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and monitoring.

5. Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud systems.

• Implement cost-management and optimization strategies.

6. Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest AWS services and industry trends.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cloud processes and architecture.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.

• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and AWS services.

• Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker).

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and database concepts.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
