Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented SRE DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in building, deploying, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems while collaborating closely with development teams to implement DevOps practices.

Software Requirements:Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScriptOverall Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormationImplement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automated deploymentsMonitor and troubleshoot system performance using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, ELK Stack, and TIG StackDefine and implement SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to measure service healthCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and application lifecycle managementParticipate in incident management and post-mortem analysisAutomate tasks across applications, services, and infrastructure management (Optional)Experience with Kubernetes (Optional)Technical Skills (Base Skills):Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, AzureInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormationDevOps and CI/CD toolsMonitoring and Observability tools : Splunk, AppD, Prometheus, Fluentd, ELK Stack, TIG StackSoftware Engineering: .NET, Go, Python, C++, Ruby, JavaConfiguration Management tools (Optional): Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SpinnakerExperience:6-12+ years of experience in a related technical roleExperience working in a cloud environmentProven experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with monitoring and observability toolsDay-to-Day Activities:Manage and troubleshoot cloud infrastructureAutomate deployments and configuration managementMonitor system performance and identify potential issuesCollaborate with developers to resolve production issuesParticipate in incident management and post-mortem analysis (Optional)Continuously improve and optimize cloud infrastructure and processesQualifications & Soft Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong work ethic and a passion for learning new technologies
