Job Description:
The work profile involves ideation, creation, testing and validation of system level electronics for application-level innovations in the domain of batteries, motors and power converters.
Assess existing technologies and design/procure appropriate technology for system level implementation.
Working with the battery and hardware design teams to improve and optimize the performance
of the implemented battery system performance.
Perform the plant modelling, model-based design (MBD) and testing (HiL/MiL) of the EV battery
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during testing and/or during production.
Benchmarking competitor EV battery packs (stacks) and other electrical/electronic EV components and interacting with the Hardware design team to optimize the design.
End to end testing of the battery system in sync with the electronics and record the data for further optimization and modification.
Logic development and selection of auxiliaries required for the battery system.
Design and fabricate test equipment for the required mechanical, thermal, and electrical systems,
Ensure test results are documented in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
Soft skills:
Should be agile, energetic and self-driven individual with the zeal to take up challenging projects and drive them to completion.
Should display leadership skills and take ownership of work in a fast-paced environment
Should be able to collaborate and assimilate ideas, plan projects and execute them in a timeline.
