Job Description :


Big Data Technologies :


- Depending on the scale of data, experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka


- Knowledge and work experience in SQL is a must


- Spearhead the creation and integration of bespoke information systems that precisely align with the company's evolving needs


- Strategically plan and design technology solutions, elevating overall operational efficiency


- Evaluate and enhance existing systems architecture, collaborating seamlessly with technical teams to implement improvement


- Swiftly resolve technical challenges, providing expert guidance to development teams


- Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, consistently researching and proposing necessary changes


- Engage stakeholders effectively, keeping them informed about ongoing technical solutions and promptly addressing concerns


- Assess the business impact of technical decisions, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making


- Keep stakeholders in the loop regarding product development processes, costs, and budgets


- Translate company needs into precise system specifications and communicate them effectively to software development teams


Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or a related field is required


- 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in various data engineering technologies and technical architecture design is essential


- Hands-on expertise and proven work experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, Azure, or AWS is required


Coding Proficiency :


- Proficiency in coding languages, particularly SQL and Python, is necessary


Operating Systems and Databases Knowledge :


- In-depth knowledge of various operating systems and databases is required


Communication Skills :


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders


Project Management Experience :


- Previous project management experience is advantageous


Agile Environment Experience :


- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.


- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.


- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.


- 7+ years of software development experience.


- 3 - 5 years of experience leading teams of engineers.


- Demonstrated experience on these core technical skills (Mandatory).


- Core Java, Spring Framework, Java EE.


- Hadoop Ecosystem (HBase, Hive, MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Sqoop etc). Spark.


- Relational Database (PostGreS / MySQL / DB2 etc). Data Serialization techniques (Avro).


- Cloud development (Micro-services).
