Responsibilities
Support biosecurity image data collection strategies and protocols for different field locations
- Adhere to data collection protocols including securing testing materials, handling logistics, troubleshooting technical issues and providing daily reports.
- Deliver high quality work under tight deadlines.
- Work autonomously with minimum direction.
- Assist in training and task management and propose solutions to simplify processes.
- Assist co-workers with on-the-ground technical troubleshooting of data collection tools and processes.
- Communicate internally with global team to identify issues and propose solutions for long term sustainability of processes.
- Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
- Checks and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
- Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
- Includes any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking / wireless networking.

Systems Integration and Commissioning:
Collaborate with controls engineers, software developers, and other project stakeholders to integrate various systems, including PLCs, SCADA, baggage scanners (EDS), and baggage reconciliation systems (BRS).
- Configure and install network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points in a highly secure and reliable manner.
Lead network commissioning activities on-site at airport locations, including system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Network Operations and Maintenance:
Monitor network performance and integrity using network diagnostic and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Proactively identify and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of the baggage system.
- Perform regular network security audits, implement access control models, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
Manage and execute network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with airport IT departments, security teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
Prepare and present technical reports on network performance and project status.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and technologies (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN).
- Hands-on experience with multi-vendor network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Siemens).
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems, including PLCs and SCADA.
- Experience with network security devices such as firewalls and IDS/IPS.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for network automation is a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field
- Preferably with 2 years' relevant work experience, or entry level candidates in relevant field of study
- Good communicator with excellent coordination skills
- Excellent time management and capable of good resource planning
- Committed individual with great initiative and strong problem-solving skills
- Candidates from the same industry will be highly preferred.
