Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Sales Coordinator (PEB) with a background in Mechanical Engineering to support our sales team in promoting and selling Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the technical and commercial teams, ensuring accurate proposals, technical clarifications, and seamless coordination with clients and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clients, sales teams, and design teams to understand project requirements and provide suitable PEB solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals, including BOQs, quotations, and drawings.
  • Analyze customer requirements and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assist in tendering and bidding processes by preparing and organizing documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Track and follow up on proposals, client communications, and project updates to ensure timely closure.
  • Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment of project specifications.
  • Maintain and update CRM and sales databases with relevant project and client information.
  • Prepare technical presentations and participate in client meetings when required.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to support business development strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical sales support or coordination, preferably in PEB or steel structures.
  • Strong understanding of PEB components, structural design concepts, and fabrication processes.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite; knowledge of ERP or CRM tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of industry standards like MBMA, AISC, or IS codes.
  • Experience working with construction consultants, architects, or contractors.
  • Familiarity with SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or similar structural analysis software is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
