Primary Teacher - Year 3 Position Type Teaching Commence Date 19 Jan 2026 to 11 Dec 2026 Employment Status Fixed Term / Contract FTE/Hours per week Full Time Year Levels Primary Subject(s)/Grade Year 3 Role Details Replacement teaching position working within the Primary Years of schooling at St Joseph’s School in 2026 with a possibility of becoming a permanent position during the year. The Teacher will: Be experienced in teaching Primary Years. The successful applicant will possess: An understanding and commitment to the ethos (values) of Catholic schools.  Apply curriculum knowledge and pedagogies to facilitate learning using the ACARA framework and Primary philosophies. Prepare and submit assessment plans according to the ACARA guidelines. Address individual student learning needs, integrated curriculum and personalised learning specific to Primary pedagogies. Understanding and knowledge of InitiaLit, Spelling Mastery, Writing Revolution, use of or willingness to teach using, Explicit Instruction and restorative practices. Understanding of trauma-sensitive practices and restorative practices. Support the ongoing development and maintenance of our learning management and reporting system (SEQTA). Be familiar with emerging technologies and have a strong interest in their incorporation into the curriculum. Ability to work independently, use initiative and develop innovative programs within a school context.
