Job Description:
Clinical Care:Conduct thorough physical examinations of pediatric patients.Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries in children.Administer immunizations and vaccinations.Provide acute care management for common childhood illnesses.Monitor and track the growth and development of infants and children.
Patient Management:Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor patient progress.Coordinate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Communication and Education:Educate parents and guardians on preventive health measures, nutrition, and child development.Address concerns and questions from parents regarding their child's health.Provide guidance on managing chronic conditions and special healthcare needs.
Record Keeping and Documentation:Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients.Document patient history, treatment plans, and progress notes.Ensure compliance with medical policies and procedures.
Emergency Care:Provide emergency medical care as needed.Stabilize patients and arrange for transfer to higher-level care facilities when necessary.
Professional Development:Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in pediatric medicine.Attend continuing education programs, workshops, and seminars.
