Job Overview We are seeking a Junior WordPress Developer to join our team at EMTA Infotech, located in Indore. This full-time position requires a candidate with 1 to 3 years of work experience. As a WordPress Developer, you will focus on creating and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring seamless integration with user interfaces and back-end services. You will contribute to a dynamic team delivering high-quality technology solutions. Qualifications and Skills Proficient in PHP, essential for building dynamic web applications and ensuring integration. (Mandatory skill) Experience with WordPress REST API for seamless communication between clients and servers. (Mandatory skill) Strong understanding of MySQL for efficient database management and data operations. (Mandatory skill) Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for creating responsive, mobile-friendly web designs. Experience with JavaScript to enhance web user interfaces with interactive features. Hands-on experience with WooCommerce for managing eCommerce functionalities. Ability to develop custom Gutenberg blocks to improve the editing experience in WordPress. Experience in Responsive Design to ensure the website's compatibility across various devices and screen sizes. Roles and Responsibilities Develop, build, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites. Implement website functionality using PHP and WordPress REST API. Integrate MySQL databases effectively with WordPress sites. Customize themes and plugins to meet client specifications using WooCommerce and Gutenberg blocks. Ensure responsive design practices to maintain usability across various devices. Collaborate with design and content teams to implement new features and enhancements. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to WordPress sites to improve performance. Stay informed on emerging technologies and plugins to enhance development processes.
