Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
with a strong background in
crane maintenance
and exposure to
production operations
. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and improving equipment reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Special focus on
  EOT cranes, gantry cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment
  maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain and troubleshoot
  hydraulic
  ,
  pneumatic
  , and
  rotating equipment
  (motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, etc.).
• Monitor the health and performance of mechanical systems in the production area.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure machine availability for smooth operations.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and documentation as per internal and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during maintenance activities.
• Supervise technicians and contractors during repair work and overhauls.
• Suggest and implement improvements in mechanical systems for higher efficiency and lower maintenance costs.
• Manage spare parts inventory related to mechanical equipment and cranes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  .
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  in mechanical maintenance in a plant or manufacturing setup.
• Strong technical knowledge of
  EOT/gantry crane systems
  and mechanical components.
• Familiar with
  production machinery
  , conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, etc.
• Knowledge of
  preventive maintenance practices
  , tools, and techniques.
• Understanding of
  safety regulations
  and compliance in maintenance activities.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Experience in handling
  breakdown analysis (Root Cause Analysis – RCA)
  .
• Certification in crane inspection or mechanical maintenance (preferred).
