About the Role

We are seeking a Tech Lead – PHP with in-depth expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter, a proven ability in end-to-end product development, and strong experience with Fintech solutions such as DMT, AEPS, BBPS, and Recharge systems.

The ideal candidate will lead the technical architecture, development, and scaling of fintech products, while mentoring developers and driving best practices across the engineering team. This role combines hands-on coding, technical leadership, and product ownership.


Key Responsibilities


Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable fintech products.

Own the complete product lifecycle – from idea validation, technical design, development, deployment, and scaling.

Architect and implement secure, high-performance APIs (3rd party integration, forwarding APIs, payment services).

Drive fintech domain solutions, including:

DMT (Domestic Money Transfer)

AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System)

BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System)

Recharge (Mobile/DTH/Utility)


Ensure transaction security, compliance, and data integrity in all systems.

Mentor and guide the engineering team, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.

Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Optimize system performance, scalability, and uptime for high-volume transactions.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where valuable.


Required Skills & Qualification

6+ years of experience in PHP development, with strong hands-on expertise in Laravel & CodeIgniter.

Minimum 2 years in a leadership role with proven ability to lead teams.

Strong track record in building and scaling products (not just projects).

In-depth experience in the Fintech domain (DMT, AEPS, BBPS, Recharge).
