Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely review and approval of all home loan applications. This includes customer on-boarding & identification, verifying key information, reviewing credit history and affordability, and confirming sufficient loan security. Also verifying adherence to established lending criteria and identifying any deviations or discrepancies.
Shift Time: 5.00 am to 3.00 pm (IST)
Domain: Australian Mortgage Credit Decision (Underwriting)
Work Location: Bengaluru
Responsibilities:
Reviewing documentation provided by customer to ensure application meetspolicy requirements.
Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to, managing and resolving customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints and issuesApplying sound risk management practices by identifying and responding to business risksProcessing transactions within agreed turnaround times and consistent accuracy in a high-volume environmentWorking cohesively within a team environment to look at continuous improvement ideas that will improve the customer experience.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelors or master's degree in any field.2+ years of experience in credit decision or mortgage loan underwriting or Post Close Underwriting in Australian, UK, and USA mortgage domain.Strong understanding of Australia, USA, or UK lending regulations is essential for this role.Candidate must have high levels of attention to detail and accuracy, as evidenced in previous rolesAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Seniority LevelMid-Senior level
