Drive the strategy for productionizing cutting-edge LLM research, particularly in the areas of SFT and CPT for LLM models.3. Oversee the development of MLOps practices and infrastructure to support rapid experimentation and deployment of large language models.4. Collaborate with research teams to understand emerging AI technologies and design systems to support their implementation at scale.5. Lead initiatives to optimize model performance, including techniques such as model compression, quantization, and efficient inference.6. Design and implement advanced data pipelines to support the training and serving of large-scale AI models.7. Mentor and guide ML engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the Applied AI Team.8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI system architecture with product goals and business objectives.9. Develop strategies for monitoring, maintaining, and improving deployed AI systems in production environments.10. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ML engineering and incorporate best practices into Krutrim's systems.

Qualifications:1. B.Tech, M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field from a top-tier institution, with 10+ years of experience in machine learning engineering and systems architecture.2. Extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale ML systems that have been successfully deployed in production.3. Deep understanding of ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), distributed computing, and cloud technologies, particularly as they apply to large language models.4. Strong background in MLOps, including experience with tools and practices for ML model lifecycle management.5. Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams of ML engineers.6. Extensive experience with deploying and scaling large language models, especially in multilingual contexts.7. Strong software engineering skills and experience with system design for high-performance computing environments.8. Familiarity with AI research and ability to translate research concepts into practical engineering solutions.9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex, multifaceted challenges.10. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
