Personnel Management

  • Wage and Salary Administration : Handle wage and salary administration, including overtime, personal records of employees, compensation and benefits management, and resolving payroll-related issues and queries.
  • Salary Structure Design : Design salary structures as per the organisation’s requirements.
  • Compliance : Preparation and submission of monthly challans (P.F. & ESI) on time and submission of monthly, half-yearly, and annual returns under various acts (ESI, PF, Shop and Establishment Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Workmen’s Compensation Act, Maternity Act).
  • Time Office Management : Handle time office software, maintain leave registers, attendance registers, and OD records.
  • Documentation : Issue offer letters, appointment letters, relieving letters, and other documents, and manage full and final settlement claims.
  • Growth Opportunities : Identify, analyse, and recommend growth opportunities for employees.
  • Employee Welfare : Manage welfare aspects, provide career guidance, identify skills and strengths, and create a conducive work environment.
  • HR Policies : Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.


Recruitment & Selection

  • Coordination : Coordinate with internal departments to get exact requirements and ensure that manpower needs are posted on the website and through consultants.
  • Interviews : Conduct telephonic interviews, shortlist candidates, conduct focused and group interviews, and perform in-depth reference checks.
  • Follow-Up : Follow up with selected candidates to confirm their date of joining and keep respective departments informed.
  • Joining Formalities : Manage all joining formalities and verifications.
  • Recruitment Status : Update senior management on recruitment status and employee costs every month.


Induction, Training, and Development:

  • Induction Programmes : Arrange induction and orientation programmes for new recruits to familiarise them with company culture and activities.
  • Training Programmes : Organise and conduct training programmes (e.g., first aid, firefighting) and maintain training records.


Performance Appraisal:

  • Performance Management: Work towards improving the Performance Management System (PMS) to provide appreciation and rewards for successful performers.
  • Salary Revisions : Conduct regular salary revisions and performance evaluations.


Employee Welfare:

  • Exit Interviews : Conduct exit interviews, handle grievances, and institute measures to reduce absenteeism and employee turnover.
  • Health, Safety, and Welfare : Ensure health, safety, and welfare measures are in place, and manage welfare measures, team-building activities, and employee get-togethers.


HR Audits and Compliance:


  • Audits : Handle national and international audits (e.g., ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001) and maintain registers and records for compliance.
  • Policy Implementation : Make and implement various company policies (e.g., Child Labour, Forced Labour, Freedom of Association, Non-discrimination, Environment, Grievance, Quality, Health & Safety, Hiring).


Administrative Tasks:


  • Payroll Management : Prepare salary and overtime calculations for permanent and casual workers, manage bonuses and gratuities, and handle payroll software.
  • Record-keeping : Maintain computerised leave records and personal files of employees.
  • Training and Development : Organise and conduct training sessions for all employees and manage external training for specialist courses.
  • Compliance Inspections : Handle labour office, EPF, and ESI inspections, and interact with ESIC, EPFO, and labour departments.
  • Housekeeping : Manage housekeeping activities to ensure the safety and security of employees.


Employee Engagement:


  • Engagement Strategies : Create and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Work Environment : Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.


Financial Management:


  • Account Sheets : Maintain and update account sheets related to HR activities.
  • Budget Preparation : Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Financial Metrics : Monitor and report on HR-related financial metrics.
