Job Title: D365 F&O Functional SCM Consultant


Required Skills:

Experience : 5+ years of experience within D365 F&O SCM

Specialization: Manufacturing, Planning, and Warehouse Management


Work Location : Hybrid (Chennai, 2-3 days in office)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Solution Design Sessions: Guide the creation and implementation of innovative SCM solutions.
  • Configuration Assistance: Support setup and configuration of D365 F&O to meet business needs.
  • Data Migration: Assist with data migration deliverables ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Documentation: Create detailed interface design documents and functional design documents.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to customizations and integrations.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze business processes (SCM) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Creative Solutions: Identify creative workarounds to meet requirements without the development of custom code
  • Understand the functional capabilities and limitations for out of the box functionality as well as custom code
  • You will be the one to identify our customer's requirements and match them with technological capabilities and with Microsoft's continuous release plans.


Key Competencies

·      Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics F&O D365 – SCM including manufacturing, planning and warehouse management

·      Experience of developing customized solutions to complex business problems

·      Demonstrable consultancy experience

·      Strong working knowledge of business processes

·      Relevant Microsoft certification

·      Excellent documentation and communication skills

·      A logical approach to problem solving and the structured introduction of change into operational systems

·      Ability to multitask and prioritize

·      Good interpersonal skills

·      Attention to detail
