Job Description:

Function: Software Engineering - Backend Development

Java Node.js Python

We are looking for top-quality full-stack developers to develop services in NodeJS/typescript and deploy on AWS lambda with Front end in React/Angular for our UK-based client.

They will have to work with the product team and QA team to get requirements and ensure high quality.

The candidate will be required to:

- To create and extend services in NodeJS.

- Manage Frontend using React/Angular.

- To deploy and manage services in Work with your peers, PO and EM, and finally with all the great people in the department.

- Test your code: Unit, Integration, A11y (i.e., Jest, React testing library, Cypress), Write unit tests and other automated tests.

- Work with architecture, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the correct technical decisions are being made to deliver brilliant experiences.

- Support the analysis of content delivery and offer performance solutions.

- Contribute to Scrum ceremonies, platform technical direction, and strategy.

- Coach and mentor junior members.

- Lead and work with multi-site and onsite, nearshore, and offshore engineering resources.

- Lead the technical analysis and troubleshooting of operational and security-related Expertise in Frontend and Backend development using JavaScript/TypeScript with React, Angular, and Node.

- Experience in designs using CSS, SASS, HTML, and React/Angular using reusable frameworks.

- Experience in API expertise, creation & integration, design patterns, JSON manipulation, data exchange, and integration with systems using Node.

- 4+ years' experience with ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, and GraphQL (must have)

- Good understanding of MySQL and NoSQL databases.

- Understanding application deployment using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Gitlab CI) is desirable.

- Fluent with modern JavaScript and standard tooling (Webpack, Babel, ES6 Linting, Prettier), HTML, and CSS Pre-processors.

- Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading/caching, PWA).

- Experience in other front-end frameworks/libraries.

- Experience in working on the implementation of test-driven approaches (TDD, BDD)

- Unit test tools and versioning tools.

- Ability to write and execute regression, unit, system, performance, and integration testing.

- Good understanding/awareness of usability, accessibility, and cross-browser issues.

- Excellent communication skills, ability to successfully collaborate as part of an Agile development team, and capability to interact directly with the stakeholders (show and tells/requirement, analysis sessions/retrospectives, etc)

- Attitude to adapt to new technologies is desirable.

- Good communication skills and ability to communicate with remote teams in effective manner.
