We are seeking a highly skilled Azure SecOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience in cloud security, identity management, compliance, and threat detection. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Security Best Practices, SIEM, IAM, Compliance (HIPAA/GDPR/SOC 2), and DevSecOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage Azure AD Security, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).Configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure Security Center to enhance the security posture of Azure workloads.Develop and enforce Azure Policy & Compliance controls for governance and security auditing.Design and implement Azure Sentinel (SIEM) solutions for security event monitoring and threat detection.Utilize Azure Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Threat Intelligence for proactive security analysis.Develop SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) workflows for automated security incident handling.Ensure adherence to compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS, NIST) within Azure environments.Implement Azure Policy and BluePrints for security governance and regulatory compliance.Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management for cloud services.Secure Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs), NSGs, Private Endpoints, and Azure Firewalls.Configure Web Application Firewall (WAF), DDoS Protection, and SIEM integrations for advanced threat prevention.Implement Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and identity-based network access controls.Secure sensitive data using Azure Key Vault (Secrets, Certificates, Managed Identities).Implement secrets rotation, key expiration policies, and RBAC for access control.Apply encryption mechanisms (Azure Disk Encryption, TLS, Customer-Managed Keys) for data protection.Integrate security scanning tools (SAST/DAST, Checkmarx, SonarQube) into Azure DevOps pipelines.Implement RBAC and Key Vault security policies in CI/CD workflows.Secure software supply chains with artifact security, integrity validation, and dependency scanning.Implement Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, and Ansible for secure Azure infrastructure provisioning.Automate compliance enforcement, logging, and access policies using IaC principles.Develop security automation scripts for threat response, alerting, and remediation.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Azure Security Engineering, or SecOps roles.Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)Hands-on experience with Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, and IAM best practices.Strong expertise in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Security Center, and SIEM tools (Azure Sentinel preferred).In-depth knowledge of network security principles (NSGs, Firewalls, Private Endpoints, WAF, VPNs).Proficiency in Azure Key Vault, secrets management, encryption strategies, and data protection.Experience implementing security frameworks & compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Threat Intelligence solutions.Proficiency in Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security automation.Experience in securing CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and integrating security testing tools (Checkmarx, SonarQube, SAST/DAST).Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for security automation.
