Role Type: Full-time

This is a unique opportunity for a results-driven professional to build our category

management practice from the ground up. As our Founding Category Manager, you will be

an instrumental, hands-on leader, taking full P&L ownership for key jewellery categories.

You are not just managing a category; you are creating the playbook. If you are a strategic

thinker with a passion for unearthing data-driven opportunities and a desire to make a

tangible impact on a company's bottom line, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

 P&L Ownership & Strategy: Take complete ownership of the category P&L. Develop

and execute a robust strategy to drive revenue growth and, most critically, improve

bottom-line profitability.

 Gap Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Conduct deep-dive analyses of our

current product assortment, sales data, and market landscape to identify critical

gaps and untapped opportunities for growth and margin improvement.

 Data-Driven Influence: Leverage data analytics to identify emerging consumer

trends, pricing elasticity, and assortment opportunities. Translate these insights into

compelling narratives to nudge and influence key stakeholders (including Design,

Marketing, and Leadership) towards data-informed decisions.

 Pricing & Commercial Planning: Design, own, and execute a cohesive strategy for

pricing, discounting, and promotions across all sales channels (e-commerce, retail

stores, etc.) to maximize revenue and ensure smooth, profitable operations.

 Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Partner closely with the Sourcing and Production

teams to perform cost analysis, identify opportunities for margin improvement, and

optimize the cost of goods sold (COGS) without compromising on quality.

 Performance Tracking: Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators

(KPIs) for your categories, including sales velocity, gross margin, inventory turn, and

return on investment.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

 Experience: 5-8+ years of progressive experience in category management,

merchandising, or business planning, preferably within the jewellery, luxury retail,

fashion, or e-commerce sectors.

 P&L Acumen: Demonstrated experience managing a P&L and a strong understanding

of the levers that drive profitability.

 Exceptional Analytical Skills: Mastery of data analysis and financial modelling. You

are an expert in MS Excel. Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Python) and BI

platforms (Tableau, Power BI) is an added plus.

 Influential Communicator: You possess a unique ability to build relationships and

influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. You can tell a story with

data and rally people behind a common goal.

 Entrepreneurial Mindset: As an individual contributor in a foundational role, you are

a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, biased towards action, and thrives

in a fast-paced environment.
