Role Description:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our new travel platform, building it from the ground up. As a key member of our project team, you will ensure that all technical aspects of the platform work seamlessly together to provide an optimal user experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the technical realization of this ambitious project.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Development: Spearhead the development of a brand-new online travel platform, from design to implementation.
Full Stack Development: Build a responsive web portal with both front-end and back-end components, utilizing technologies such as PHP, React.js, Node.js, and Python.
API Integration: Manage and integrate complex systems and third-party APIs for flights, hotels, and car rentals to ensure a seamless user experience.
Security and Scalability: Ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient backend, including authentication and data security.
UI/UX Design: Design and implement intuitive UI/UX solutions to enhance the user experience.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our team in the Netherlands, maintaining frequent communication regarding project requirements and progress.
Quality and Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, bug-free solutions that meet the requirements of the travel platform and other technical projects.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in full stack development, preferably within the travel industry.
Extensive experience with API integration, particularly in the travel sector (GDS, Amadeus, Sabre, etc.).
Strong expertise in PHP and other back-end technologies (Node.js, Python).
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js).
Experience with database management systems like MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Knowledge of travel industry regulations and compliance standards.
Experience with the development of e-learning solutions.
