I am working with a fast-growing renewable energy company based in North Sydney. They are a forward-thinking business with a team of around 100 employees and strong plans for continued growth. As they enter an exciting new phase, the current HR team of two is looking to bring on an additional HR Officer to support a range of key areas, including Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations/HR Operations and Talent Acquisition. About the Role We are looking for an energetic, proactive and switched-on HR Generalist to join the team on a permanent basis and provide strong support to our existing HR team. Key Responsibilities Learning & Development Develop/enhance training plans Assist in building-out career pathways and progression frameworks Coordinate internal and external training activities Identify emerging skill needs and L&D opportunities Performance & People Management Work with team leads to build out KPIs, performance reviews and improvement plans Work with leaders to build strong people-management capability Assist in developing clear processes, policies and templates Employee Experience & HR Operations Provide general HR support and advice to employees and managers Support or manage Employee Relations matters appropriately Help review and improve HR processes and documentation Assist with payroll checks, benefits recommendations and general HR administration Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manage or support end-to-end recruitment drives across various departments Improve and streamline our induction and onboarding processes Assist hiring managers with workforce planning and role scoping Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience What You Bring 5+ years HR experience across a generalist or specialist area A formal HR qualification – highly desirable Strong knowledge in at least one of the following: Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Management, IR/ER, or HR Operations Ability to take ownership and run with tasks independently A collaborative, positive attitude and ability to “add value” from day one Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Excellent communicator – both written and verbal Additional Information: An exciting opportunity to shape HR processes as the business grows Supportive environment with autonomy and trust Flexible working arrangements (also open to part-time – 3 days p/w) Consultant Reference number: Profession:HR & RecruitmentHuman Resources Company: BTI Executive SearchDate posted: 21st Dec, 2025
