Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web applications, APIs, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI, API, regression).
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Contribute to building a scalable QA process and improving automation frameworks.
  • Ensure product quality across different browsers, devices, and environments.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
  • Good knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with SQL for database validation.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Haves :

  • Experience testing SaaS or enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for test environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Work in Agile sprints and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
  • Take ownership of modules or end-to-end features and drive them to completion.
