About the Role

We are seeking a talented and versatile AI Engineer to join our growing team in Gurugram. This role requires a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with practical experience across a diverse range of AI domains, including Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Translation, Classification, and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing innovative AI solutions, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be capable of contributing to the entire lifecycle of AI projects, from research and development to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Development & Deployment

  • Design and build AI/ML models across domains like Computer Vision, NLP, Machine Translation, Classification, and Generative AI.
  • Develop end-to-end pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, primarily in Python.

Domain-Specific AI Applications

  • Computer Vision: Build solutions for image recognition, object detection, segmentation, and video analysis using tools like OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • NLP: Implement text classification, sentiment analysis, NER, topic modeling, etc., using libraries such as spaCy and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Machine Translation: Develop and fine-tune neural translation models, and experiment with various translation techniques.
  • Classification Models: Apply and evaluate machine learning classifiers on structured and unstructured data using standard algorithms.
  • Generative AI: Explore use cases in text and image generation using GANs, VAEs, and transformer-based models.

Model Evaluation & Optimization

  • Measure model performance using relevant metrics and continuously optimize based on real-world data and feedback.
  • Deploy AI models into production and ensure reliability at scale.

Research & Innovation

  • Stay abreast of advancements in AI/ML and contribute ideas for integrating cutting-edge technologies into projects.
  • Experiment with new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive innovation.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders.
  • Present technical insights clearly and contribute to peer reviews and team knowledge sharing.

Qualification & Functional Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing AI/ML models across multiple domains (Computer Vision, NLP, Translation, Classification, Gen AI).
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Transformers, OpenCV, NLTK, spaCy).
  • Solid understanding of fundamental machine learning algorithms and concepts.
  • Experience working with various types of data (image, text, structured data).
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
