Job Description


At Supercuts in San Luis Obispo, we have a reputation for being actively invested in our team members. We provide an environment for long-term employment, a salon where Stylists can work in a busy, stable atmosphere while cultivating a long-standing client list, and a place for new Stylists who have just earned their certification (or are almost done) the opportunity to get their start in the industry while providing ongoing training, guaranteed clientele, and peer support.  And while the satisfaction of our clients is vital to our success, the happiness and professional fulfillment of our staff is our most important value.  We are locally owned and operated and are continuously searching for Stylists who are new to the field, and those who have been growing their careers for years.  We offer a competitive compensation package that includes health insurance options, paid time off & holidays, and flexible schedules for both full-time and part-time positions.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

·        Contribute to the team by performing salon services

·        Market the salon and build clientele

·        Encourage customer retention and cultivate new business

·        Help to create a work environment that encourages employee growth and success


Requirements

Successful Candidates Must Have :

·        Current CA cosmetology license or close to completing certification

·        Ability to provide exceptional guest service by understanding the guest’s needs, providing quality consultations, and performing services requested in an efficient and professional manner

·        Ability to perform administrative tasks such as completing transactions on the computerized register, performing close-out procedures, and light housekeeping duties

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·        Positive attitude and strong work ethic
