Position: VB Developer

Experience Level: 4+ Years

Location: Manipal, Karnataka- Onsite.

Position Type: Full-time


Note: Udupi, Mangalore candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions using Visual Basic (VB) programming language.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
  • Design, code, test, and debug applications according to project specifications.
  • Maintain and enhance existing VB applications by identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Ensure software meets quality standards and complies with coding guidelines.
  • Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in software development.
  • Document software designs, coding procedures, and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize application performance and usability.
  • Assist in deployment and configuration of software applications as needed.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Visual Basic Developer or similar role.

  • Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies..
  • Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.
