Job Description :

Octro Inc is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manual QA Tech Lead to join our team. As a Manual QA Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of game performance and functionality. You will lead a team of manual QA engineers, design test plans, coordinate test execution, report bugs, and provide feedback to developers. Additionally, you will mentor and coach other QA testers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge in manual testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Leading and Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of manual QA engineers in various projects and domains.

- Test Planning: Design, develop, and execute manual test cases, test plans, and test strategies for complex features and functionalities.

- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with development, operations, product, and business teams to ensure the quality and usability of the products.

- Results Reporting: Report and track the results of test automation suites, ensuring that software products meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.

- Quality Assurance: Define quality gates and thresholds to measure and monitor the performance, reliability, and security of software products.

- Testing Expertise: Proficiency in various types of testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Issue Resolution: Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues that impact release scope, quality, and schedule.

- Continuous Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.

- Best Practices: Research and implement best practices, tools, and techniques for manual testing.

Qualifications :

- Extensive experience in leading manual testing teams.

- Strong background in manual testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience in game testing is a plus.

- Leadership and mentoring abilities.

- Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
