Role DescriptionThis is a hybrid internship role as a Data Science Intern at ApplyBuds. The intern will be involved in tasks related to data collection, processing, analysis, statistics, and data science. While the role is based in Mumbai, there is flexibility for some remote work.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sourcesConduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insightsDevelop and implement machine learning models and algorithmsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insightsGenerate reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings effectivelyParticipate in brainstorming sessions, project planning, and code reviewsStay up-to-date with the latest data science trends, tools, and technologies

QualificationsPursuing or completed a degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fieldAnalytical Skills and Statistics proficiencyString interest in Data Science, Data Analytics, and Data AnalysisStrong problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in programming languages such as Python or RAbility to work collaboratively in a team settingExcellent communication skillsSome working knowledge of data manipulation libraries like Pandas, NumPy, or similar tools is a plus
