Position- Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Salary - 12-20 LPA


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions based on business needs and industry best practices.
  • Provision, configure, and manage Azure virtual machines to ensure optimal performance, security, and high availability.
  • Oversee Azure subscriptions, handling resource organization, access control, and cost optimization.
  • Set up and maintain Azure networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, VPN gateways, and load balancers.
  • Manage and configure Azure storage solutions such as blob storage, file storage, and disk storage.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum reliability and uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure services with existing applications and systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging Azure technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Serve as the technical expert on Azure cloud technologies, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the entire software lifecycle from development to production release.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end cloud-based solutions.
  • Report to the Project Leader on developer progress and alignment.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Adaptability, proactive approach, and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work with teams across different cultures and geographies.
