Job Description

Key roles and responsibilities

Mendix Development: Lead the hands-on development of Mendix applications, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, guiding development teams in implementing best practices. Architecture and Design: Architect robust and scalable Mendix solutions, collaborating closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs. Integration: Hands-on integration of Mendix applications with existing systems and third-party services, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow. Code Reviews and Performance Analysis: Conduct hands-on code reviews, performance analysis, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality and optimize application performance. Continuous Learning: Stay hands-on with the latest Mendix features, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into solution designs. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and business analysts, to ensure cohesive and effective solutions. Mentorship: Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

The Successful Applicant

Hands-On Mendix Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Mendix Technical Solution Architect or similar role, demonstrating a deep understanding of Mendix development. Programming Skills: Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python programming languages. Cloud Platforms: Basic hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platforms and related services. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong hands-on problem-solving and analytical skills. Communication: Effective hands-on communication and collaboration skills. Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work hands-on independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Leadership: Hands-on experience in leading and mentoring development teams. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certification: Mendix certification is a plus.
