Position Title: PMS HR Specialist
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager / HR Head
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Compensation: Up to ₹20 LPA (based on experience & fit)

Role Summary

The PMS HR Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's Performance Management System (PMS). This role ensures that performance processes are aligned with business objectives, strengthen employee engagement, and support continuous talent development. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate customer insights, and leverage audits and reviews to foster a culture of performance and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management System (PMS) Implementation

  • Design, review, and refine PMS frameworks, policies, and processes.
  • Facilitate goal-setting, KPI alignment, and OKR design with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage annual and bi-annual performance appraisal cycles ensuring timely execution and closure.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with employees and managers to track goal achievements and define actionable improvement plans.

Process Management & Support

  • Guide managers and employees on PMS tools and best practices.
  • Ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency in performance evaluations.
  • Track and monitor adherence to PMS timelines and cycles.

Customer & Quality Insights

  • Integrate customer feedback into performance evaluations.
  • Conduct and monitor mystery audits to validate process and service standards.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop performance reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Identify high-potential talent and performance gaps through data analysis.
  • Provide data-driven inputs for compensation, promotions, and succession planning.

Training & Communication

  • Conduct workshops on goal setting, feedback, and appraisal processes.
  • Create communication material to improve employee understanding of PMS.

Continuous Improvement

  • Benchmark industry best practices and recommend PMS enhancements.
  • Leverage HRIS tools to streamline and digitize PMS operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–6 years of specific PMS experience (mandatory), with expertise in appraisal design, KPI/OKR implementation, and performance analytics.
  • Knowledge of PMS frameworks (OKRs, KPIs, Balanced Scorecard, 360-Degree Feedback).
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, MS Excel, and data analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.

Job Type: Full-time
