Job Title: WordPress Developer

Location : Ahmedabad, India (Candidates should be based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress

Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites

and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and

content creators, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality WordPress solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and custom WordPress themes/plugins.

Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement visual and interactive

elements that enhance user experience.

Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.

Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise and provide timely resolutions.

Conduct regular updates and maintenance tasks, including backups and security enhancements.

Stay update with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security standards.

Work with external APIs and integrate third party services, plugins, and APIs into WordPress websites.

Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the quality of deliverables and participate in testing efforts when required.

Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent

practical experience).

4-5 years of hands on experience in developing WordPress websites and custom WordPress

themes/plugins.

Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and template hierarchy.

Experience with popular WordPress page builders and frameworks

(e.g., Elementor, Beaver

Builder, Underscores).

Knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques.

Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Experience with performance optimization and caching techniques for WordPress.

Understanding of security best practices and ability to implement security measures in WordPress.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
