About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications while mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications and RESTful APIsWrite clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standardsLead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisionsConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersMentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering their growth and developmentOptimize application performance, security, and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QATroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environmentsParticipate in sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremoniesStay current with emerging technologies and industry trendsRequired Qualifications5+ years of professional PHP development experienceStrong expertise in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar)Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patternsExtensive experience with My SQL/Postgre SQL and database optimizationSolid understanding of RESTful API design and developmentExperience with version control systems (Git)Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Java Script)Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest)Understanding of web security best practices (OWASP, SQL injection prevention, XSS)Experience with Linux environments and command-line toolsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with modern Java Script frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular)Knowledge of Docker and containerizationFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)Understanding of microservices architectureExperience with message queues (Rabbit MQ, Redis)Knowledge of Elasticsearch or similar search technologiesContributions to open-source projectsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
