This role is for one of our clients We are collaborating with leading AI research initiatives focused on applying artificial intelligence to complex scientific challenges in bioinformatics . The goal of this project is to build an advanced benchmark to evaluate AI model performance in executing complete bioinformatics workflows — from raw sequencing data to meaningful analysis, guided by natural language prompts. This work requires a combination of bioinformatics expertise , tool proficiency , and strong scientific reasoning . Researchers will help design benchmark tasks grounded in real-world, peer-reviewed scientific data. Requirements Why You’re a Great Fit You are an ideal candidate if you: Are a current graduate student (M.S. or Ph.D.) , Postdoctoral Fellow , or Research Scientist in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics , or a closely related quantitative discipline. Have hands-on experience using bioinformatics command-line tools . Possess exceptional attention to detail , analytical rigor , and problem-solving skills . Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms. Role Highlights Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with the potential to scale up to 40 hours. Fully remote and asynchronous work schedule. Short-term engagement: Initial commitment of 1–2 months, with opportunities for extension based on project needs.
