We are hiring a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the implementation of modern DevOps practices within our organization. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, implementing automation tools and processes, and ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery through continuous integration and deployment pipelines. This role requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with cloud platforms and automation tools, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with development and operations teams. Ability to work within a virtual global team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.

Responsibilities Include

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using on AWS and Azure.
  • Design,deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, including specialized hardware (e.g., GPUs) and cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker).
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and management of applications and services using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Implement and and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with development and technologists’ team across the organization to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Apply of trust, transparency, accountability and ownership
  • Anticipate needs and implications of decisions, proactively working to identify, clarify, and resolve issues, and removing barriers within and outside the organization in a timely manner.

Technical Essentials

  • Solid knowledge of AWS platform and its services - including but not limited to: AMIs, Route53, VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, SQS, Cloud Watch, Lambda, DynamoDB and EKS.
  • Expertise in AWS networking and security (RDS, EC2, Route53, VPC, Subnet, Security Groups, firewall, routing, VPN, DNS, digital certificates, IAM etc.)
  • Experience with AWS Data Analytics Stack (S3, RDS, Redshift, EMR, EC2, Athena etc.)
  • Experience in docker, container orchestration, docker repository.
  • Solid knowledge in AWS EKS, ECS and ECR services.
  • Expertise in AI/ML frame work like SageMaker, ML flow.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps, AKS and ACR
  • Expertise in VNET,VM, Azure blob, Azure functions, Application gateway
  • Expertise in AWS policy types using Json and automation using CloudFormation, Terraform.
  • Experience scripting and programming for systems administration using shell and or python,
  • Automation and configuration management using Ansible, Terraform and Packer (Puppet or Chef experience welcome) •
  • CLI and API scripting (Bash/Shell, Python, Javascript). Proficiency in Java a must.
  • Experienced in Security - End to end security model, from all access points, VPCs, Regions and external connections, IAM roles- Network knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, Load balancing)-
  • Experience in Linux and networking operations, Networking Direct Connect/VPC, NACLs, security groups, etc.
  • Experience in security infrastructure/vulnerabilities and Web Application Security.
  • Experience with application / platform hardening especially on public cloud platforms (AWS)

Preferred:

  • Certification in AWS, Azure and Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a big plus.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
