Job Summary:
The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and supporting a wide range of HRGA functions within our organization. This role includes responsibilities in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance with labor laws and general administration. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of India employment law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand and meet required skills and competencies.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate new-hire orientations, conduct onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for employees.
Employee Relations & HR Operations: Handle employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and other HR-related processes. Provide support to employees on various HR topics and ensure a positive workplace environment.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations. Regularly review and update HR policies and practices to maintain compliance.
HR Documentation & Record-Keeping: Manage HR documentation and data management. Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and local employment laws.
Collaboration: Work closely with the HQ HR team to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices across locations.
Office Administration: Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the smooth operation of office functions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an HR professional with a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and procedures.
Strong knowledge of India employment/labor laws and HR policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HR software and systems.
