the role:As an Staff Accountant, Works with CPA clients and SMB clients in day-to-day bookkeeping, with substantial guidance and support of a Manager with the intention to meet/exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:Become proficient in the use of QBO, QBD, BDC, SAGE Intacct, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and related software tools.Learn preparation of task spreadsheets, GL reconciliation work papers, and proper documentation. Track Open Items and exceptions, so that they can be easily reviewed and addressed.Learn and adopt client workflows, accounting practices, and preferences. ImplementQuickly scale the learning curveHighlight accounting errors or process gaps to the senior/Manager. Be proactive and forward thinking.Ability to complete beginner and low complexity bookkeeping and analytical tasks with few technical corrections from the reviewer.Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborating and working with multiple teams demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work.

Need to Have:Bachelor’s in Commerce or related field.Minimum 1-3 years of experience in US AccountingStrong academic track record, minimum 60% or aboveUphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.Understanding of industry specific accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
