We are looking for a rockstar go-getter who will work closely with the founders and top leadership team of Stack to help spearhead the company’s growth trajectory.

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our team, specializing in mutual funds analysis and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a deep understanding of financial markets, and proficiency in automating systems. The role involves mutual fund analysis, portfolio construction, collaborating with technology teams for automation, and providing training to the wealth management team.


Responsibilities:


1. Mutual Funds Analysis and Ranking:

  •   Conduct a thorough analysis of mutual funds across various asset classes, sectors and themes.
  •   Evaluate fund performance, risk metrics, investment strategies, and management team expertise.
  •   Develop quantitative and qualitative ranking methodologies to assess mutual fund suitability for client portfolios.


2. Portfolio Building Logic:

  • Develop and implement portfolio construction strategies based on client risk profiles, investment objectives, and market conditions.
  •   Utilize modern portfolio theory, asset allocation techniques, and risk management principles to optimize portfolio performance.


3. Mutual Fund Portfolio Analysis:

  •   Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing mutual fund portfolios.
  •   Conduct periodic reviews to ensure alignment with client objectives and market dynamics.
  •   Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and rebalancing.


4. Automation and Technology Collaboration:

  •   Work closely with the technology team to automate manual processes related to mutual fund analysis, portfolio management, and client reporting.
  •   Develop tools, models, and algorithms to streamline investment decision-making processes.
  •   Continuously explore and implement technological advancements to enhance efficiency and scalability.


5. Wealth Team Training:

  •   Provide training sessions and workshops to wealth management professionals on mutual fund analysis techniques, portfolio construction methodologies, and market trends.
  •   Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the wealth management team.


6. Automating Client Reporting:

  •   Design and automate client reporting templates to deliver comprehensive and insightful performance reports.
  •   Customize reports based on client preferences, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  •   Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of client reporting deliverables.



Key requirements:


  • Must have 3 years or more prior experience in investment research across multiple asset classes such as equities, bonds, commodities etc and dealing in various investment asset classes such as Mutual Funds, Stocks, Bonds, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and automation (optional).
  • Must have strong analytical acumen and should be quick with numbers
  • Must posses strong excel modelling skills
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal as well as written


Certifications Required (optional):

 

NISM VA/VB (MF), XA/XB (RIA), XXIA/XXIB (PMS), XIX-A/XIX-B (AIFs) (can be acquired over 3 months post joining)
