Als Medior Business Analyst, zul je:
  • Betrokken zijn bij diepgaande analyses, het doen van verbetervoorstellen en het monitoren van de implementatie.
  • Ondersteunen bij het optimaliseren van een nieuw EREX-systeem dat wordt gebruikt voor het berekenen van het tractie-energieverbruik van treinen.
  • Fungeren als belangrijke kennisdrager van dit nieuwe systeem, in staat zijn om kennis vast te leggen en over te dragen om de continuïteit van verbeteringen te waarborgen.
  • Opereren op het snijvlak van data, IT en business.

Wat jij in huis hebt:
  • Afgeronde universitaire opleiding, bij voorkeur in econometrie, bedrijfskunde wiskunde of transportwetenschappen.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling.
  • Minimaal 3 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring als Business Analyst, vooral in het analyseren van data en het schrijven van adviezen.
  • Sterke affiniteit met IT en data, en ervaring met systemen zoals PowerBI.
  • Bewezen zelfstarter met initiatief om oplossingen vanaf nul op te bouwen.
  • Proactieve instelling, waarbij conceptueel vermogen wordt gecombineerd met een praktische aanpak en een hands-on mentaliteit.

Je moet in staat zijn om:
  • Het tractie-energieverbruik te monitoren, analyseren, corrigeren, communiceren en adviseren.
  • De nauwkeurigheid, volledigheid en betrouwbaarheid van gegevens te controleren en proactief correcties en verbeteringen aan te bevelen.
  • Energieverbruiksvoorspellingen te leveren en samen te werken met experts om voorspellingsmodellen te verbeteren.
  • Senior stakeholders te ondersteunen met datagestuurde inzichten en aanbevelingen.
  • Noodzakelijke activiteiten voor te stellen en te plannen om continue verbetering van het EREX-systeem te waarborgen.
  • Vertrouwen en samenwerking met klanten te creëren, ervoor te zorgen dat adviezen effectief worden geïmplementeerd en gebruikt.
