Job Title: JD Edwards Technical Consultant (Payment Modules)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled JD Edwards (JDE) Technical Consultant with expertise in payment modules to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) software and a deep understanding of payment processing workflows and modules within the JD Edwards system.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide technical expertise and support for the implementation, customization, and maintenance of payment modules within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

2. Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand payment processing requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

3. Develop and customize payment modules, including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and credit card processing.

4. Configure payment processing workflows, rules, configurations and integrations with external payment gateways, banks, and financial institutions.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to payment modules, including system errors, data discrepancies, and performance optimizations.

6. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of payment modules to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business requirements.

7. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and technical support teams on payment module functionalities, configurations, and best practices.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest JD Edwards releases, patches, and updates related to payment processing functionality and incorporate them into existing systems as needed.

9. Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities related to payment module implementations and upgrades.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to deliver comprehensive payment processing solutions that meet business objectives and regulatory Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 10-15 years of hands-on experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) software, specifically in payment module development and customization.

3. In-depth knowledge of payment processing concepts, including AP, AR, EFT, credit card processing, and electronic invoicing.

4. Proficiency in JD Edwards tools and technologies, including OMW (Object Management Workbench), Business Functions (BSFNs), Data Dictionary, and Table Conversions.

5. Strong understanding of JD Edwards architecture, database structures, and integration mechanisms (e.g., JDE Integrations, EDI, XML Publisher).

6. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner.

8. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

9. Relevant JD Edwards certifications (e.g., JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development, JD Edwards Financial Management) are a plus.

10. Experience working in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing is preferred.
