Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in data analysis and proficiency in SQL. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights, contribute to data-driven decision-making, and support various engineering initiatives. Your analytical expertise will help optimize processes, identify trends, and enhance overall efficiency within the engineering department.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis on various engineering datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Create and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Assist in data quality assurance and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to optimize processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Support the implementation of data-related projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and engineering methodologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Data Analyst, preferably within an engineering environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data modelling and database design concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, etc.) is advantageous.
